The challenge we had to solve

The Pension Fund of Ukraine pays a lot of attention to the security of storage of important information arrays and the ability to restore it in the event of an emergency, and also takes care of the disaster resistance of data centers. Belintech specialists were tasked with strengthening the institution's computing power and ensuring maximum fault tolerance of the entire system. 

Within the implementation of the project, we:

• expanded the software and hardware complex based on a complex engineering system optimized for the operation of the database management system (DBMS);
• deployed an additional backup data processing center (data processing center) that will be able to "pick up" operation of the entire system if the main data center fails;
• optimized the software and configured the system for maximum performance. 

The solution was implemented using Oracle hardware and software.

Result of cooperation

The successfully implemented project increased the computing power and also ensured the disaster resistance of the information system of State importance. All data is protected by backup mechanisms both within one data center and at a geographically distributed level, which guarantees the possibility of data recovery in the event of an emergency or the loss of the main data center. The backup data processing center will be able to restore the operation of all applications and the functioning of the information system as a whole.
